The forms necessary for visa interview
The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest announces a change in the application form for tourist, business, student and all other non-immigrant visas to the United States. Effective November 1, 2006, all applicants for non-immigrant visas at U.S. Embassies around the world must complete the Electronic Visa Application Form, or EVAF, and print it out. This form is free of charge. The EVAF speeds up the visa application process by accelerating data entry. Applicants who submit a handwritten or typed DS-156 application form on the day of interview will be asked to return with the new EVAF application form. Visa application forms printed from the internet and then filled out by hand or by typewriter will not be accepted. The forms must be completed online and then printed - all three pages.
Visa applicants are usually informed of the consular officer's decision at the conclusion of the interview; however, in some cases it may be necessary for the applicant to return to the consulate with additional documents.
If a non-immigrant visa application is approved, the visa will be ready in the afternoon of the following day.
If an applicant cannot return the following day, he or she may use a courier service. Applicants may fill out a courier mailing label available at the consulate, or they may bring in a pre-paid and pre-addressed envelope from a courier service. The consulate is not responsible for passports lost by a third-party courier service.
The consulate recommends that applicants do not purchase non-refundable airplane tickets before their visa application is approved.
The next form (DS-157 is necessary to be completed only by the mans between 16 and 45 years old regardless of nationality!

The DS Form 158 need to be completed by all the applicants for F, J, M visa and for derivative F2, J1 and M2.
